The food options were a bit generic for Chinese food. I mean, 4 buffet tables and they only had Chinese food on one, a couple bins in another. The sushi could be better, as it was also a bit generic. But everything tasted good, lots of options for kids who may not like Chinese, so that was nice to see. You may want to address your mold problem in the bathroom instead of trying to hide it with bleach. Black mold is so harmful to everyone's health. However, all in all, this was a great place with lots of options and I left full and happy. Maybe next time I'll try the Mongolian BBQ. Your prices are super! Don't change them!

This is pretty decent food...a nice variety.. its great for being ready right now and getting 20 different things... strange though how they start the dinner price at 3 or 330... I walked in at 340 and paid the dinner price but mostly half trays were out until I was just about to leave at almost 5. Also... for some reason a woman who worked there took my plates before I was done with them. I was sitting at the table with the plates in front of me ,talking ,and she just grabbed them and said have a nice day and walked away. Im thinking maybe I was being cut off and rushed out . Overall... worth it for $20 bucks to eat now and have some sushi with you ribs and wings. Order water and then grab your drinks off the buffet !! Guard your plates !!

This Father's Day weekend, we celebrated at Chen's, and even though we've been coming here for years, this visit just felt different in the best way possible. We had a party of 30 people and I called the day before to give them a heads-up. When we arrived at 7:30 PM, everything was ready for us. We were seated right away, our drink orders were taken quickly, and the food was fresh and coming out nonstop. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming to our family. We've never had a bad experience here, and that's one of the reasons we keep coming back. The food is consistently good, and while Chinese restaurants may be a dime a dozen, finding a good Chinese buffet around here is actually pretty rare. What's funny is that my family owned a Chinese restaurant growing up, so you'd think we'd be tired of Chinese food by now. Yet somehow, we still find ourselves choosing a Chinese buffet whenever we get together. 😂😂 One thing we're always judging is the hot and sour soup. When you've worked in the restaurant business, you become a little picky about certain dishes, and hot and sour soup is definitely one of them. Since every restaurant makes it differently, it's often hit or miss

We stopped in for the Lunch buffett. The variety of food was GREAT! The price was reasonable. The waiter was very friendly and asked us how's the food and if we needed anything. We were impressed on the variety of options on what to eat and availability of kid food and deserts. Everything tasted great, vegetables were fresh and I loved the availability of the grill. We defineatly recommend Chen's!!!!

Five stars for variety and being kid-friendly (pizza, Jell-O, ice cream, juices). Food overall is about three stars (especially the entrée sauces and soups--flavors just seem off). Plenty of attentive wait staff. Lunch is $11.99 for adults and $7.99 for kids (ages 3-10). I mostly go for the solid sushi station. (Side bar: iceberg lettuce does NOT belong in a sushi roll.) Mongolian barbecue station is a nice touch. The interior leaves something to be desired but the recently remodeled bathrooms are great and kept clean. This is the only Chinese buffet left in the Saginaw area.
